Here are this weeks highlights from FACTEUR PR:
1.) End Screens by YouTube
YouTube recently announced a new feature called End Screens. It's a mobile-friendly tool that allows to add a thumbnail overlay onto the last 5-20 seconds of your videos encouraging your viewers to watch more of your videos, subscribe to your channels, and more. Learn more about how to incorporate these into your videos now here.
2.) R.I.P. Vine
Twitter announced that its short-video sharing app, Vine, would soon be discontinued. The reasoning is being speculated. Vine was acquired by Twitter in 2012, and only about 10% of what's considered as "top-tier brands" use the platform unlike its competitors such as Facebook and Instagram. But there could be hope for any Vine users out there - Twitter is currently in talks to sell the platform instead. Full story here from Fortune here.
3.) #INBOUND16
